Act 1:
"Ma-ma!! There is a WASP in Ava's room!"
"Mama, wasps-ses will sting you."
"And second of all, they will kill you too."
*It turned out to be one of those big floppy mosquitoes.
Act 2:
Cate came home from school today with a small brown shell. I wasn't sure what kind of nut it was. "Mama (you idiot), it's a hickory nut."
"Oh, did you learn about those at school today?"
"No, but I know all about them. You hear that rattling? There's a baby squirrel in there."
