I am constantly working on Cate's manners. I cringe when I hear her say, "Yeah" to a grown up. I am beginning to teach Ava courtesy as well. A couple of nights ago I handed her a cup of juice. She grabbed it and proceeded to continue to watch Dora. I said, "Ava, what do you say?"
To my amusement, she replied, "GOOD. MANNERS." Her smug little grin glowed with such satisfaction I didn't have the heart to correct her.
