A conversation I overheard at swimming lessons:
Cate: “My Mama’s name is Mama.”
Katie (teenager helping Ms. Hayley with lessons): “What’s her first name?”
Cate: “Her first name is Mama, just Mama.”
Katie: “What’s her last name?”
Cate: “Oh! Her LAST name is Lauren.”
“I see….”
