We got about 8 inches of snow on January 10th. The weather man kept saying we were going to get a lot and we really found it hard to believe. It started mid afternoon the day before and when we woke up, it was a winter wonderland. It was powdery instead of icy, so it was harder to slide on, but great to make snowballs and snowmen. Molly did not like it at all and Tucker loved it. The big kids (adults) had more fun than the little ones who all ended up inside with the fire and snacks. I could not get them to understand that it may not snow here like this until they are our age and that it never snows 2 or 3 times a year like it has. Snow actually stayed on the ground a full week. It was awesome.Ava couldn't do without her Dora toboggan.
