American Girl Place, Chicago

Ava has loved baby dolls since she could hold one. She loves to rock them, feed them, stroll them, diaper them, and is wagging one around most of her waking hours. So, on our Chicago trip, one of our must sees was the American Girl Place. It was two story and full. This was probably Ava's favorite part of our trip. She was frantic, moving from display to display. She took half a dozen dolls off of the shelf. She fed, strolled, dressed, carried, and bedded babies. I know the clerks thought we were trying to shop lift. We were just scampering around behind her as fast as we could go picking up doll paraphernalia. Joe, Nana, and I have changed Bella's outfit At Least 22 times since we got home. Cate has had little interested in dolls until recently. She has realized if she wants Ava to play with her, there had better be a baby doll involved. Cate did get Christy (the Bitty Baby Mama Sue gave her when Ava was born) some new clothes and had fun there as well. But Ava was in Bitty Baby heaven.
