Cate and Ava's Birthday Party

A few weeks ago we had Cate and Ava's birthday party at the church gym. They had so much fun. Cate was so excited that all of her friends got to come. Ava was so excited there was cake. She ate almost 1/2 of her little cake and cried when we took it away. She does take after her Mama. By the time the celebration was almost over, Ava came dragging up and spoke words I've never heard come out of her mouth, "Mama, I want to go home and take a nap."



Before we sang "Happy Birthday" Ava kept licking the icing. A little girl told her not to touch it and this was her response.
